Tallis produced some to the most decorative maps issued in the 19th century. All have baroque vignettes and unique ornate borders. The map of New South Wales is very beautiful with a wonderful view of Sidney and two others. Also notes the gold diggings of the area with hand color.
Condition is very good with a close top margin. Image size is 14.5 inches x 10.5 inches with some outline color.
