A nice map of the city, based on the earlier cartographic endeavors of firms like Mitchell, but updated to show the latest additions of rail lines, bridges and development. Notes key buildings, and is hand colored by ward. Shows some of the many ferry lines that serviced the area from Ellis Island and New Jersey to points along the east river. An inset shows the "Northern Portion of New York City and County".
