It seems like a common, comic approach today, but this map by Wallingford is one that helped start the whole genre of whimsical perspectival maps. Beginning as early as the late 1920's he hit on a funny style that caught on quickly. This gem for the NYC urbanite shows a jumbled funny map of the states with a radically distorted NYC, Brooklyn and Staten Island. Condition is good with some toning from age, issued on board.
