New York One Hundred Years Ago.
Published as a supplement in the Harpers Weekly of Feb 19, 1876 this was a centennial look at New York City. With a reprint of a 1770's map of NYC at its center, this double page print is surrounded with engravings of historic buildings and scenes. The map shows the few streets, and buildings which were neighbored by farms and gardens during the 1770's which was quite a contrast with what it had become by the time this 1876 print was made.
Condition is good with some repairs to the centerfold and marginal loss. Image size is 14.5 x 21 (inches).
