This map of the North Atlantic Ocean handles the most recent breakthroughs of the transatlantic cables connecting the continents of North America , South America and Europe. Insets show where the cables rise onto the land again at New Foundland and Ireland. Traces the telegraphic cables routes across the US, through the Caribbean and down to South America. Notes Ocean depths as well. A mix of both printed and hand color.
Condition is very good with some light age browning to the paper. Image size is 14.5 x 16.5 (inches).
