A finely engraved map of the US and neighboring colonies, spanning from the recently founded United States, west to the mountains of the Louisiana territory. In the US it does show borders of the states reaching all way to the Mississippi River or the Ohio River. Notes many native tribes throughout, including the land of the Cherokees in the midst of the US. Does show the fictitious islands of Lake Superior.
