An interesting Italian published map for the situation of the colonies with some interesting notations. While the eastern seaboard is familiar, save for the inclusion of the territory of "Sagadahook" just above Maine, there are several unique notations. Just west of North Carolina is shown the land of the Cherokees ("Cherachesia") which is roughly their original homelands. Above that is an Ohio which is roughly translated as the Upper Louisiana of the English. Throughout what would be modern day Mississippi and portions of Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky is a vast territory of the Lower Louisiana of the English. West of the Mississippi River is "Luigiana", the French Louisiane Territory.
