North Pacific
A large rolled Sea chart of the Pacific from the equator to just beyond the Behring Strait, illuminating the coasts from Asia to the Americas it includes some printed routes such as the China Sea to North America, or even more specific such as San Francisco to Sitka, but includes several “Great Circle” tracks across the Sea. Throughout the continental portions of the map are 41 different insets for islands, harbors and specific coastal portions. Has a large inset for Hawaii (“Sandwich Islands”) and an inset for “Honoruru”.
Condition is very good with one or two spots of foxing with some manuscript notations for a voyage just off the coast of the Americas. The original thick blue backing paper is present and solid. Image size is 40 x 74 (inches)
