The East Village Other - Woodstock August 13, 1969

The thought of a concert that would be "3 days of peace and music" would be a welcome respite and retreat. And through effort as well as accident it would become cultural moment for the generation.
This New York City based underground newspaper offered the routes to the festival on the cover in a "yellow submarine" style of surrealistic images.
