    A dramatic early scene of a catastrophic natural gas explosion, and how they used to regain the well and start again. In the top upper right the mayhem is illustrated as "View oat the Outbreak of the Fire, Showing Some of the Buildings Which It Destroyed". The larger image shows teems of men working a massive pipe over the open mouth of the natural gas pipe in order to contain and snuff out the blaze.

    Condition is good, with some problems along the centerfold and with some minor marginal tears. Image size is 21.25 x 13.5(inches).
