Though the state may have a tumultuous history of change and settlement, the celebrated literary figures are diverse and abundant. From Pulitzer prize winners, to journalists inducted into the state hall of fame, to the poet and one-time mayor of Langston, who would become the poet laureate of Liberia, this is an amazing introduction and overview. Perhaps most notably, Sequoyah, the inventor of the printed Cherokee language lived in the area before his death. Uncommon. Condition is good with some repaired marginal tears.
