Oklahoma Oil Fields.
A mammoth relic of early eastern Oklahoma Oil history. This field map printed on oil cloth shows all the latest activity from “Producing Oil Well”, “Gas Well”, “Showing of Oil” to “Abandoned”. Divided into township and range, this map spans from the town of Shawnee and a portion of the Canadian River up through Muskogee, Chandler and Tulsa up to the Kansas border, and the amount of activity is astounding. Areas around Bartlesville and Nowata are pocked everywhere with the latest drilling, likewise around Sapulpa, and even further south to Okmulgee. A rare piece of Oklahoma Oil & Gas history, published from a local company based in Muskogee.
