(Pacific Northwest) Colton's Washington and Oregon
This map was issued just after Oregon became a state and assumed its current borders. The remainder in the eastern part was transferred to Washington which then assumed the large "L" shape it had for a few years extending to the South Pass and including today’s Idaho and parts of Montana and Wyoming. With bold original hand color, this is a dramatic example of this configuration.
Condition is good with some marginal dampstaining. Image size is approximately 13 x 16 (inches)
