Part of Central Colorado, Atlas Sheet No. 53 (C), Geographical Surveys West of the 100th Meridian (Wheeler Survey)
This map shows Denver and the regions south to about Monument Hill and west to Bailey. There were only scattered settlements at the time, but the mountains and streams are shown in hachured relief. The major asset of the map is that it is the best trail map of the region available from this period. Amazingly detailed for terrain of the area, it is a fascinating study.
Condition is very good. Printed Sepia color. Image size is 17 x 20 (inches).
