Tallis produced some to the most decorative maps issued in the 19th century. All have baroque vignettes and unique ornate borders. The map is of the region near Adelaide with the new discoveries. The mining regions are identified with red dots. There are four vignettes relating to the life of the region.
Condition is very good with a close top margin. Image size is 14.5 inches x 10 inches with some outline color.
