Very well engraved map of Pennsylvania showing the condition of county growth, major cities and towns, as well as a greater grasp of the mountains and hydrography. Shows the major roads, including a long path from Philadelphia, through the south, over to Pittsburgh, and up to the town of Erie, just next to the "U.S. Fort". . Excellent detail particularly in the largely unsettled western part. A note near Erie says "U.S. Fort”.
Condition is good with some mild staining and foxing. One minor misfold. Image size is approximately 8 x 10 (inches),
