It was the occasion of the coronation of George VI that this map for the west end of London was made. It details the area spanning from Brompton Road and Exhibition Road, up to Wellington Road and Circus Road, east to Bath St. and Old St., and across the Thames to intersection of New Kent Road and Harper Road. Full of vignettes for buildings and points of interest throughout the area and includes the underground routes and the coronation route in red.
Condition is very good and in its original soft covers. Image size is 14 x 19 (inches).
