Polynesien und Der Grosse Ocean (Polynesia & Pacific Ocean)
An excellent example of the meticulous and fine engravings that German cartographers were making in the late 19th century. With several maps on this sheet, a large map shows fine detail for hundreds of Pacific island chains, and over a dozen insets show specific islands on the left. A mix of both printed and hand color.
Condition is very good with some light age browning to the paper. Image size is 16 x 13.5(inches).
