(Russia) Europaeischer Teil Der UdSSR Bilderkarte
A large pictorial folding map to promote German and European tourism of Russia. In its original folding paper covers with its title and an attribution to the "Herausgegeben Von Exportisdat uuter Mitwirkung Des Intourist.", this joint publication is a beautiful image of European Russia, full of vignettes of the land's attractions. Though apparently published in Russia the style and vignettes seem to be based on the work of Ernest Dudley Chase (but I imagine Mr Chase had little recourse against the Kremlin). Does show Moscow as a hub of roads and railroads and spans up to Murmansk, down to Erivan, and east to Sverdlovsk.
