Tallis produced some to the most decorative maps issued in the 19th century. All have baroque vignettes and unique ornate borders. The map of Russia in Asia is surrounded by four vignettes relating to native life of the region including a very charming church and several Siberians fighting a bear.
Condition is very good with a close top margin. Image size is 10.5 inches x 13.25 inches with some outline color.
