A large decorative map for the island of Sicily and other nearby islands. Looking at ancient Sicily it shows the major mountain chains, rivers and towns, as well as the Volcano of "Aetna". An inset in the upper left shows the city of Syracusa and environs. A beautiful image overall, which is complimented by a decorative title cartouche flanked by angels.
Condition is fair with close margins with loss and damage and a centerfold with old repairs with loss. Image size is approximately 15 x 19.25 (inches)
