Evolved from the British War Department maps that began in WWII, this map shows the islands, its roads, land classifications and surrounding islands. At this stage it is a mostly rural island with perhaps less than a third of the islands including some residential buildings, and with no where near the density of today. Colorful, detailed and interesting.
