(South Atlantic) Kaart van de Ontdekkingen gedaan in den Zuider Atlantischen Ocean met's Konings Schip De Resolutie Onder berel van Kapiten Cook in 1775.
With north oriented at the bottom of the map, this fine engraving shows some of the most remote islands of the south Atlantic which were encountered by Capt. Cook. Here the South Sandwich islands are shown, with the route of Cook as it weaves throughout to South Georgia Island.
Condition is very good with some very light discoloration to the centerfold. Image size is 12 x 13 (inches).
