Tallis produced some to the most decorative maps issued in the 19th century. All have
baroque vignettes and unique ornate borders. The map of Southern Italy is the southern states
of Italy surrounded by five small vignettes relating to native life of the region including Naples and
Vesuvius.
Condition is very good. Image size is 12.5 inches x 9.5 inches with some outline color.
