A decorative map that we've not encountered that centers itself on the historic river of the Southwest, that starts in Colorado and wanders to the Sea of Cortez. With North in the upper left hand corner we get a dramatic view of the course of the river as it grows and wanders through Colorado, Utah, Arizona and out to California and Mexico. Notes the major towns and peaks, and is complimented with vignettes for forts, villages and, of course, the Grand Canyon. A cool dramatic image, which may have been for decorative purposes but captures something of the nobility of the great western river. This painted/printed image is on half inch thick wood with decorative ornament at top. Condition is good with wear and cracking to the surface, some scuffing and staining. Shipping will cost a bit more, and will be adjusted.
