  • In the Navajo spiritual tradition it is the Spiderwoman, a transcendent being that
was charged to teach the Dine people how to weave. The Dine who live in now on a
swath of land that reaches through most of the four corners states took the lessons
of the Spiderwoman and made regional designs that draw form the natural
resources. With a map at center noting the major towns and features, 13 different
major styles of Navajo rug are shown with their point of origin.
Condition is very good. Image size is approximately 24 x 25.5 (inches)
