  • (Tech) "Read My Lips" - Loose Chips Sink Ships - Protect U.S. Technology, U.S. Govt, c. 1989
Drawing on his successful slogan of "Ream My Lips, No New Taxes", this poster sought to parlay that political momentum into a defensive position for the growing Tech industry in the U.S. Harkening back to the famous slogan of WWII, that "Loose Lips, Sink Ships", this was meant to put an important national spotlight on an integral industry. At the time, the U.S. had certain tech advantages, and it was well prior to the off-shoring of so many larger tech companies that would shift much of their fabrication and production to foreign lands. A rare admonishing that perhaps should have been taken into consideration beyond just the recycled slogan. Rare. Condition is good, some scuffing, wear and light misfolds.
