  • The United States, Including the Recently-Acquired Territories.

It was a rapidly changing landscape and the completion of the title with the phrase "including the recently-aquired territories" was timely. While east of the Mississippi states had been established for decades, and railroads spanned from Maine to Missouri, west of the river was a different story. Native tribes predominate in a area where six large territories basically divide up the West. A large inset shows the West from the continental divide to the Pacific coast. Detailed, and interesting .

Condition is very good, with bold hand color, and light discoloration to the centerfold. Image size is 13.5 x 16.5(inches).
