A fun map of the nation noting placenames with holiday connections "Christmas, Florida; "Holly, W. Va."), but is also full of brief holiday related stories from the beginnings of the nation up to the early twentieth century. Printed on newsprint at the time, it's rare to see any of these maps by John Hix survive, and its our first encounter with this map.
Condition is good, has been professionally restored and backed, with some minimal loss at corner folds, but not effecting the printed image. Image size is approximately 20 x 29 (inches)
