Networked computer communication didn't begin with the World Wide Web, and there were evolving alternatives that would allow you to access content, other than with a www. prefix. This large chart directs you to over a hundred different points with information to offer. Whether by Gopher, FTP, Telnet, Mailing List or Newsgroup, there content supplied from agencies like the CIA, or World Bank, to Molecular Biology Databases, the New York Art Line, there's lots to explore. This was one large folding graphic out of a series the Downs created to be included in the plastic poly bag that magazines were sold in, and was a creative way to distinguish their magazine from competitors. This instance is signed by Timothy Edward Downs.
