Including the script writers of Hollywood, as well as major literary figures you have unbelievable breadth from the fantasy of Frank Baum and Edgar Rice Burroughs, the science fiction of Ray Bradbury and Aldous Huxley, the history of Ariel & Will Durant, or the odd outliers of Ayn Rand or Krishnamurti. It's really staggering. But to us there is an obvious omission of the most gritty Los Angeleno, that was maybe too controversial to include; Charles Bukowski.
