(Thematic - World) Historical Chart of Mankind - A Visual Record Of Man's Racial, Nationa and Cultural Progress, Dornsief - Gluckman, 1937 It's been said that history doesn't necessarily repeat itself, but sometimes it rhymes. Therefore a deep knowledge of human history could offer a set of tools for future challenges and change. This tall chart hopes to convey the essentials of human history in the clumsy fashion you might expect from the era, as human's are first grouped by skin tone, and then connected to cultural landmarks. It does seem that most of the worlds accomplishment grow from the root of "White People", but Asian cultures do show greater activity as time goes on. The chart measures by fifty year increments from 4000 B.C. up to the top of the chart at 1925, and an expectant 1950. Notable events at the top include "Gandhi's Passive Resistance 1920-24", "Edward VIII Abdication 1936", and one chilling notation for German of "National Socialism 1933". Condition is very good and includes its original envelope and companion booklet. Overall size 63 x 14 (inches)
