Tunison's India
In the late 19th century there was a boom of American map makers, with some new smaller companies that produced interesting work. One such publisher was Tunison, a carto-publisher based in a small town, making maps in their own style with some older approaches, such as hand coloring each image, and a decorative border. A simplified map of British India as it was. Here dividing British possession from Princely states. An inset grants an interesting prespective of India to the small British Isles.
