A crisp engraving by a French master with light original hand color. A fine example of French cartography from the time, with a nice sense of presentation and decorative cartouche. Great for the Turkish holdings of the time and the land of the Balkans, Greece, the Greek Islands and western Turkey. Nice crude depictions of Cyprus ("Chipre"), and Crete ("Candia").
