(U.S. - Agriculture) Atlas Of American Agriculture - Part III - Soils Of The United States, U.S. Dept of Agriculture, 1935
It's hard to imagine a more important time for an analysis of soil across the country than this. The terrible drought that had begun a few years earlier had now sunk to its lowest and the dust storms were beginning to spread out from the plains and choke the air as it wafted toward the East Coast. This atlas spans the entire 48 states, and the twelve individual double page maps can be removed and joined together to make a wall map of the nation. Condition is fair for the worn and separated covers and spine, but contents are very good, with minor bumps and tears. 97 pgs. Overall size is approximately 18.75 x 13.5 (inches)
