(U.S. - Alaska 49 Star) United States Flag
President Eisenhower signed the executive order that added one more star to the American flag when Alaska became a state in 1959. It was a short lived incarnation of the flag as not long after in 1960 Hawaii would be accepted as a state and setting the format of the flag for decades to come. This uncommon instance is the 49 star flag.
Condition is good with some soiling and light staining. The Canton is printed blue, though the cotton cloth of the stripes are sewn. Size is approximately 34 x 56 (inches)
