A few years out from the end of the Civil War and the nation resumes with a focus on the West. This map shows a completed railroad that stretches from Omaha all the way across to San Francisco. Most of the territories occupying the West look familiar, sae for "Wyoming Ty" that still includes the Dakota crescent, with its western border reaching across into modern Montana.
