Notably three maps nestle by each other showing basically the same composition but for three different eras (Early American Exploration and Settlement, The Indians Southwest, Spanish and French Exploration and Settlement). Surrounding the maps are vignettes of important moments from the meeting at Promontory Point to the Mexican War, up to the notable men of Bat Masterson, Wild Bill Hickok and even "Mexico's Pancho Villa". A colorful product of its time.
