A classic large map of the nation when books ruled the day. Full of quotes and book titles it is a take on the nation with a fun twist. Numerous insets address US cities, but with different titles "City of Bagdad on the Subway" (New York), "City of Eugene Field & Mr Dooley" (Chicago), "City of Bret Harte & Gertrude Atherton" (Boston), which is also shown in another inset as "City of the Autocrat and the Liberator" (Boston). A beautiful map, with a fun theme.
Condition is very good with some small marginal tears. Image size is approximately 20.5 x 28.5 (inches)
