  • (US) A MAP of the BRITISH EMPIRE in AMERICA, from the Head of HUDSONS BAY to the Southern bounds of Georgia, with the intervention of CANADA.

    An uncommon colonial map for the primitive America that spans from a very small and early colony of Georgia, up to an early unnamed Michigan peninsula and into Canada. All of the British possessions lay east of the Appalachian mountains, and are shown with many towns and cities, which are neighbored to the west by numerous native tribes. Spans out to Newfoundland which are inhabited by "Esquimaux" and the Atlantic, is here noted as "The Western Ocean".
