A very strongly engraved map of todays United States and Canada extending across the Mississippi River as far west as the eastern part of Louisiana. This map is substantially taken from the great map by John Mitchell and shows each of the colonies with their boundaries extending far to the west into Louisiana. It is finely detailed with the names of numerous places and states and much information on Indian Tribes. The false islands in Lake Superior are shown.
Condition is very good with a close left margin. Image size is approximately 11.25 x 15 (inches)
