The United States Game
With recent interest in the genre of "pictorial" maps there are many that are trying to find the "first" or the most important pictorial mapmaker. But what becomes evident after some examination is that it is an approach that is as old as cartography and surfaces in the culture in many different forms. This game board with a printed date of 1901 looks like many pictorial maps that would gain prevalence in the 1920's, with depiction of place that is more vernacular and regional.
Condition is very good, issued on folding board. Image size is approximately 17 x 32 (inches)
