Vicinity of Los Angeles.
It is not easy to find early maps for Los Angeles, or even things that touch on its progression. This gem by Hardesty does a good job at showing the lay of the land for the area well before the turn of the century. Including the nearby islands from San Clemente and San Nicholas up to San Miguel, it focuses on the area from Santa Barbara county down to just beyond the city of Ysidore. Notes major roads, and all the railroads, with the many smaller towns they serviced.
Condition is good with some light dampstaining, perhaps exaggerated by our photos. Image size is 10 x 13.25(inches).
