A good large map of the neighboring states, not that long after the Civil War and reconstruction eras. Hand colored by county, it shows a wealth of detail for the towns and terrain, as well as the scads of rivers and creeks. Numerous insets look at the panhandle and south western edges of the states, as well as regional rainfall and specific details for Harper's Ferry, Hampton Roads and Norfolk Harbor.
