Beautifully engraved map of Virginia with dramatic mountains and rivers seen in the western part. There is excellent detail throughout the map and the counties, towns and roads are all named with distances given between the towns. Lewis followed a practice of carrying some small details slightly beyond the state line to give proper continuity.
Condition is good with some light foxing.
