Tallis produced some to the most decorative maps issued in the 19th century. All have baroque vignettes and unique ornate borders. This is a map of Ontario then called West Canada. It has vignettes of Indians and buffalo, several other small animals and the Falls of Niagara.
Condition is very good. Image size is 10.5 inches x 13 inches with some outline color.
