Louisiana.
A notable small map of the recently established Lousiana Territory. A Soulard based map that shows the greater West, that Carl Wheat referred to its importance as it became the base and source for a lot of maps that would follow it. A bold engraving stretching from the United States border and Mississippi River, west to the Pacific Ocean, and printed at the time when Lewis and Clark had reached the Sea, but had yet to return to St Louis.
