Issued by American Pioneer Trails Assoc., this map follows the journey of Lewis & Clark, with vignettes and notations throughout that endeavor. From the start in St Louis, to the death of Sgt Floyd, to the Mandan Villages, the great portage to the arrival at the Sea, this map notes a many of the key moments along the journey. Also included on the map are later significant trails, keyed and shown in yellow, including the Oregon trail, Fremont's route, Santa Fe trail, and Mormon trails, amongst others. An attractive image that while no artist is attributed, it is clearly the work of the Montana artist, mapmaker Irwin "Shorty" Shope.

Condition is very good. Image size is approximately 29.25 x 15 (inches)
