Matted together these two maps of the hemispheres make a great decorative world map. Complimented by mountain and river charts ("Everest" is shown as the highest peak, and the Mississippi River is shown as the longest river) this is an interesting map that though published late in the 19th century still is hand colored. Tracks throughout the world's oceans show the routes of Capt. Cook and the US expedition of Wilkes.
