Map Of The City Of Milwaukee Showing Water Works 1874
Issued in part of a report on the city water works, this map shows the grid of the town, the progress of the water department, and more. Interestingly includes a hand colored red area that specifies area of the city that are "below a plane of 25 feet above the level of Lake Michigan", which is a considerable large portion of the city. Details the rivers, canals and railroad lines throughout.
Condition is good though one upper fold has been repaired without loss. Image size is approximately 19.5 x 14.5 (inches)
